Never use these prepositions!

Forbidden propositions

Beware of these wrong prepositions. Although they may sound fine in your mother tongue, they must be avoided in English.

– I enjoy watching horror films.
NOT I enjoy FROM watching horror films.

– Your new jacket matches your purse.
NOT your new jacket matches WITH your purse.

– I called my friend yesterday.
NOT I called TO my friend yesterday.

– Do you use your laptop every day?
NOT do you use FROM your laptop every day?

– You have reached your destination.
NOT you have reached TO your destination.
