Candidate’s Response:

Nowadays, many experts and teachers conduct the tests and exams to examine their students considerably for the many reasons such as development of systems, improvement of students skills and expansion of educational society. In this essay, i will paraphrase the benefits of testing at length with logical conclusion.

On the one hand, examination and tests would be beneficial for the schools in order to increase and extend the knowledge of the students to perform better while exams conduction. However, it can bring many benefits for their career, future and being success in their particular profession. The majority of parents concern with reference to the exams that institution or school is going to organize for their children they think pushing them forward and motivating them cause success in their exams but, there are many aspects that parents must consider such as caring about diets of children before and after the exam, making an appropriate schedule for the tests, daily practice according to their capacity and capability of managing the time while performing the exam which is very common between the children specially students at primary schools. Therefore, parents have the significant influences on the children performance and lives for their achievement. Moreover, educational benefits can increase the system of institution or school to get result quickly which is very important for their efforts mainly among the staff. Of it vital importance to making an efficient plan for the students to earn their desire in a specific subject.

On the other hand, education would be necessary for our society in order to expand the circular data and information whether through the internet, social media or by communication with other people particularly experts and person who has the cognizant. It has to be said that a myriad of institutions and schools earning too much money by taking admission fees from the students which is not fair at all. So, if we desire to proceed our children to the higher education and learn many skills we must keep these criterion in preference and use them wisely to level up educational test and exams in our schools. However, efforts and talents of the students are very essential and it can effects on their pathway. These are the most convenient way to improve the testing system through the schools and institution.

In conclusion, making a sufficient program and move according to the proper schedule can develop the technique and system for the education. Conduction of exams and tests are requisite for the students in order to bolster them for the high achievement and to monitor them step by step. I believe the benefits of educational tests and exams outweigh of disadvantages due to the proceeding the children and encourage them to do better than before.

Feedback:

Thank you indeed for writing this essay. The essay answers the question in its first body paragraph, but the second paragraph tends to expand on a related, yet rather distant, topic: the necessity of proper education; the development here requires more clarity. Coherence and cohesion can use a clearer introduction; the reader appreciates an essay which tells him what to expect as he reads through the paragraphs. Under the same category, better referencing and more accurate use of the definite article “the” is recommended. Grammar and vocabulary errors are high but do not damage the reader’s comprehension.

Tests and examinations have long been a fundamental component of educational systems worldwide. They serve as essential tools for assessing students' knowledge, understanding, and critical thinking skills. However, the question arises whether the educational advantages of testing outweigh any potential drawbacks. This essay will delve into both the positive and negative aspects of tests and examinations in education and provide an informed perspective on the matter.
Tests and examinations have several educational benefits. Firstly, they provide a structured platform for students to consolidate their learning. Regular assessments encourage students to review and revise their study materials, enhancing their understanding of the subject matter. Secondly, tests help educators identify areas of weakness among students, enabling them to tailor their teaching methods and provide targeted support. Moreover, tests promote healthy competition among students, motivating them to strive for excellence and consistently improve their performance. This competitive spirit can cultivate a strong work ethic that extends beyond the classroom and into various aspects of life.
While tests offer educational advantages, there are also potential disadvantages that warrant consideration. High-stakes examinations can create immense pressure on students, leading to anxiety and stress. This pressure might hinder genuine learning and creativity, as students may prioritize rote memorization over deep understanding. Additionally, the emphasis on standardized testing can limit the scope of education, potentially neglecting important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. This narrow focus may not adequately prepare students for the complex challenges of the modern world.
To strike a balance between the benefits and drawbacks of testing, educators and policymakers must adopt a holistic approach to assessment. Instead of relying solely on traditional exams, a combination of assessment methods, such as project-based evaluations, oral presentations, and practical demonstrations, should be employed. This diversified approach can better gauge students' comprehensive understanding and application of knowledge, while also nurturing their critical thinking and communication skills. Moreover, educators should focus on creating a supportive learning environment that reduces the negative impact of exam-related stress.
In conclusion, tests and examinations play a significant role in education, offering both advantages and disadvantages. While tests promote consolidation of learning, competition, and targeted instruction, they also pose challenges related to stress and narrow learning focus. Striking a balance between these aspects is crucial for a well-rounded education. By embracing a diversified assessment approach and fostering a supportive learning environment, educators can harness the benefits of testing while mitigating its potential drawbacks. Ultimately, an education system that values both assessment and holistic development will better equip students for success in an ever-evolving world.
