Candidate’s Response:

these days, having friends are of significance importance to everyone, but having friends with the same idea or opposite views are being debated by different people. I will outline these views here

on the one hand, having friends with the same idea can be useful and constructive in the process of friendship. if people can make friends with the same idea, they could devotees of their time to them. they would have some interests to share with each other and to spend their time by talking about their favorites. For example,  such friends can do the same activity like going to swimming pool at the morning before going to the work.  this planning  can be understood by   such friends who agree with each other’s opinions.  not only would this decision be useful for their healthiness,  it can boost their relationship because of the length of time which they would spend.

on the other hand, having friends with different viewpoints can broaden friends’ horizons.  when they have different ideas, They should discuss with each other for reaching a compromise.  this discussion can uncover parts of the debate which is hidden and this can cause individuals think about it in different way.  such thinking can extend friends’ views, thus ,  they would learn to accept opposite views with different look.  this way can help people to develop the friend’s circle.

in my opinion,  having friends with same ideas would be better because we could spend a considerable of time on Entertainment without any struggle for selecting the Hobby or setting a suitable time for it.  however having friends with opposite beliefs can be appreciated and would be worth.

in conclusion, Having friends with same interests can be positive because individuals can spend their time with each other and  some people have this idea. whereas other people  favored the friends with opposite views which can be applicable for learning how to reach a neutral on understanding in a discussion.

Feedback:

Thank you indeed for writing this essay. When the writer’s opinion does not fully and completely fall under any of the opposing opinions, it deserves a separate paragraph, which is a very good practice, and this essay observes that; however, it is now very important to make sure where exactly the writer’s opinion stops in between. Maybe, a more accurate language is needed to make sure when, for instance, having friends with opposite views can be of value, what the value is, or how it is compared to having friends with the same view.

Friendships are an integral part of human social interactions, and the question of whether it is preferable to be surrounded by like-minded friends or those who hold differing opinions is a topic of ongoing debate. While some argue that having friends with similar opinions fosters harmony and understanding, others contend that the presence of friends with divergent viewpoints leads to personal growth and enriched discussions. This essay will explore both perspectives and provide an opinion on the matter.
One school of thought suggests that surrounding oneself with friends who share similar opinions can lead to a more comfortable and harmonious social environment. People who hold this view argue that shared beliefs and opinions create a sense of camaraderie and reduce the likelihood of conflicts arising due to disagreements. Friends who agree on various matters are more likely to provide unwavering support and mutual understanding during challenging times. This could result in a more pleasant and stress-free social life.
On the other hand, proponents of having friends with differing opinions believe that exposure to various viewpoints encourages personal growth and critical thinking. Interacting with individuals who challenge our beliefs fosters a broader understanding of the world and prompts us to reevaluate our perspectives. Engaging in discussions with friends who hold opposing views can enhance our ability to communicate effectively, improve our tolerance for differing opinions, and help us develop a more well-rounded outlook on life.
While the above viewpoints have their merits, it is essential to recognize the value of a balanced approach. Friends who always agree might lead to complacency and an echo chamber where new ideas are rarely introduced. Conversely, friendships filled solely with disagreements might lead to unnecessary conflicts and emotional strain. Therefore, the ideal scenario lies in striking a balance between both approaches, where friends share some common ground while also embracing differences.
In my opinion, the presence of friends who hold differing opinions is crucial for personal development and intellectual enrichment. Engaging in thoughtful debates and discussions with individuals who challenge my views has enabled me to broaden my horizons and develop a more empathetic and open-minded approach towards differing opinions. However, I also acknowledge the importance of a certain level of shared understanding to maintain harmony and a sense of belonging within a friendship circle.
In conclusion, the choice between having friends who always share similar opinions and those who disagree is not an easy one. While having like-minded friends can foster comfort and understanding, the presence of diverse viewpoints among friends facilitates personal growth and intellectual expansion. Striking a balance between these two approaches ensures a well-rounded and enriching social life. Ultimately, friendships should be built on a foundation of mutual respect, regardless of whether opinions align or diverge.
