Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concern regarding missing my international flight with your airline. I was a passenger at the Air Canada, and I was planning to fly from Toronto to Malaysia to participate in a global conference.
I arrived at the Pearson Airport three hours before my departure. While I checked in and got my boarding pass, the monitors which were showing the information of all flights stopped working. My colleagues and I did not notice any changes and we remained on our seats and waited for the airport receptionists to call the passengers for the flight. I’m afraid that nobody called us.
I missed not only my flight but also my biggest adventure of participating in the conference. I was planning to present a lecture about issues-related humanities in front on 1000 audiences. I tried so hard for this conference and I was engaged in meeting prominent professors from well-known universities.
I would like to ask you humbly to fully refund or at least receiving 50% of the cost of my flight as the airport is responsible for this circumstance.
I vigorously looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
