    Candidate’s Response:

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the article posted on your magazine. Although I became so excited to see the name of my city (Mashhad) in your magazine, highlighting some misleading information, such as geographical location and history of my city made me frustrated.

This should be noted my religious city is located on North East of Iran with a wide range of rich history. It was the capital of Iran many years ago for a powerful king named Nader who governed Iran and strived to expand his territory. My city has a holy shrine which its beauty captivates many international and national travelers from different cities of Iran or other countries every year.

As many Muslim people have a tendency to travel to Mashhad and expand their knowledge of my city’s historical components, it is very crucial to include correct information.

It is strongly recommended to have an official meeting with some Iranian history teachers to your office or even virtually, because they are engaged to dig in Iran’s history. Therefore, you will gain a deeper understanding of my country and specifically my city and you could include the transcribed of your meeting on your magazine. Needless to say, I can assist you to provide a meeting with some history professors.

I am vigorously looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Yours faithfully,

    Maryam

    Feedback:

Thank you indeed for writing this letter. It would be better to mention the erroneous parts and then propose replacements. Using words like “such as” implies that there are more errors, so even after reading this letter, the editor cannot be 100% sure that the article is error-free.

    Dear Sir/Madam
I hope this letter finds you well. I recently read an article in your esteemed magazine about my town, which, while insightful, contains some incorrect information that I believe needs correction.
The article mentions that our town's annual festival is held in August, but this is not accurate. In fact, our town celebrates this event in July. Such details are crucial for visitors and tourists who rely on your magazine for accurate information when planning their trips. Providing incorrect information can lead to confusion and inconvenience for travelers, and it can adversely affect the reputation of our town as a tourist destination.
I kindly request that you rectify this inaccuracy in your magazine's next issue or through an online correction. It's imperative that your magazine maintains its reputation for providing reliable and up-to-date information, as this ensures the satisfaction and safety of travelers.
In the future, I suggest implementing a fact-checking process to avoid such errors. Additionally, you might consider publishing a section for readers to report inaccuracies, which could facilitate ongoing accuracy and accountability.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that your commitment to accuracy will be upheld in the future.
    Regards
