Dear Smith,
I hope everything is fine. I am going to move to Venice for my Master’s next month and I would like to ask you about the part-time jobs available for students.
The first semesters might be challenging for me. I should take five courses each semester which have both course projects and final exams. Beside courses, there is a team project that I should complete to get my final degree. The program should take a maximum two years, and I will join the program in Fall 2021.
I think it is necessary to find a job in the first semester to cover my expenses. As far as I know, the living cost is at least six thousand Euros and I will be only able to cover my tuition fees with my investment. I might be able to survive the first two months without having a job, otherwise I should return home country.
I am sure that you can help me with job hunting. I remember that you were a barista in a small cafe in your neighbourhood. I have some hands-on experience in making different hot and cold beverages. Can you recommend me to your boss? If I make sure that I have a job before moving to Venice, you help me deal with the stress of covering my expenses.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Arash
