    Candidate’s Response:

    Dear Alex

I am writing to you concerning your performance in the later concert which i attended.

To tell you the truth, your voice is very profound and i have a sense of satisfaction and peaceful which is a result of being in concert in which you performed vey well. As your body language had been coordinated with your voice, so, these two factors contributed to me to have such a great sense at the present.

Also, i would like to give you some information about my activitiy at music in which i play guitar for a local group called ABC, which is not very famous but it is valuable to me to develop my skill. When i was child i started learning the principle of playing guitar by private mentor, but i couldnot continue it until recent years, and this group was an excellent opportunity to me, which involved me into musical activity.

In addition, as i had a geat knowledge about this musical instrument, i would like to join your group in which you since. Although, it was very hard to convince the rest of members to accept me, you could help me enter in your band. Since you are a key element in it and could prove this way to me to play where you sing.

i am looking forward to hearing from you in this regard, as soon as possible.

    best wishes.

    Feedback:

Thank you indeed for writing this letter. The tone is mixed; some part of the letter is informal and friendly, while in some parts, it is very formal and respectful. While this mix is necessary, the tone must remain at a certain level throughout the letter. For instance, in this letter, we can replace “looking forward to …” with “I can’t wait to read your response …”
