Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope that this letter finds you well. I am writing this to request a study leave from Feb 1st to Mar 15th. Allow me to elaborate the situation.
As you know, I am pursuing my master’s degree at University of London for three years now, and I have only used the weekends and my personal time after work to do so. However, to finalize my study, I need some time off work to be able to focus on my thesis and persuade my supervisor that it is ready to be published. Thus, I would really appreciate it if you could accept my leave request during this time.
I know this is a huge favor to ask, considering the intense sales targets for 2020, but I am committed to return this favor by working during holidays for three consecutive months to meet the targets. I know it might be difficult, but that is the price I am willing to pay for studying along with my career.
In addition, I am hopeful that you will appreciate that this qualification will help me in the sales negotiations with our clients as well. This is primarily because I can use the novel sales approaches that I am going to propose in my thesis in practice.
Looking forward to your approval.
Best Regards,
