    Candidate’s Response:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with regard to a flight that I have taken from your airline, the Fly Emirates.

Two days ago for a job-related issue. I traveled to the Dubai and yesterday I came back to my hometown, Hanoi. It was a round trip flight that I booked ten days ago with the reference number #1012AS01.

Unfortunately, during my flight back to the Hanoi, suddenly the plane started vibrating while one of the flight attendant was providing hot tea for the passenger who was sited adjacent to me. As a result of this rapid movement, almost all of the cup of tea spilled over my recently-bought suit, and after the flight I took my suit to the laundry, but it was not cleanable.

As the aforementioned suit is no longer usable because of your flight attendant’s mistake, I request $200 reimbursement for the expenses incurred. Enclosed is the receipt of my suit’s purchase the day before flight.

I look forward to receiving your answer and reimbursement of all charges.

    Feedback:

Thank you indeed for writing this letter. Some details could be more concise, and certain elements of the task (like explaining why the issue occurred and how it impacted the writer) could be elaborated for a higher score. There are minor issues with paragraphing, and some sentences could be more logically connected. Transitions between ideas could be smoother.
